It's 2011!

Today is New Year's Day and 2011 is here!

As usual, had our breakfast at Whampoa market and then for groceries shopping at NTUC.

In the afternoon, my parents decided to go over to Shuang Ling Temple to pray for the New Year...Oh, also my 伯伯 is back from Shanghai this afternoon!

Yummy, yummy

Today is the fifteen day of the Seventh month (鬼月)in the Chinese calendar. My papi took afternoon leave to help abuela to carry the 7th month groceries. This is his practice for many years... you know, the rice, cooking oil, biscuit tin, and other stuff are just too heavy for abuela to bring home by herself.

Before all this, my papi went to Chinatown Complex and ate his favourite yong tau foo soup for lunch.After his hearty lunch, he went to City Square and bought groceries from NTUC. He came home and told mummy that Astons is opening soon at City Square.

He rested for awhile, and off he went to Toa Payoh Lorong 8 with abuela for the 7th month festivities. Lastly, he bought delicious mixed rice dinner from Ocean Fish head Curry there.

Playground time!

Mom brought me to the playground today. Had a fun time sliding here and there. Went to NTUC after that and mummy bought my favourite mango pudding.Good weather today, no rain and importantly, NO FLOOD.

Diarrhoea blues

I am down with light diarrhoea for the past 2 days. It just happens everytime I finish my milk. My parents just bought me soy milk from NTUC. Hope that can prevent my diarrhoea.Pray hard that I recover fast as my papi is on leave this Friday. Heard that my parents are bringing me to Parkway Parade.

I saw her standing there

My parents brought me to Whampoa market for breakfast this morning. Out of the blue, papi suggested we go to NTUC at Shaw Plaza for our groceries shopping. We then headed to McDonald's for an iced Milo drink.

Surprise, suprise. I saw Eva there too. Guess she haven't gone on to France yet... ran around and played balloon fighting with her.

Eating mee swa

Yesterday was my mummy's "special day". It is a term coined by one of her friends. We had mee swa and eggs for dinner. It was cooked by abuela. Yummy. I ate, papi ate a big bowl and of course, mummy ate too.Mummy did not go to work yesterday. Well, it is not because of her special day. She was off to NTUC to buy some yong tau foo for the week. We actually bought alot on Sunday, but then forgetfully left the whole packet at 奶奶's house.

No new shooz

Papi, mummy and 舅舅 brought me to Bukit Panjang Plaza this afternoon. It was after all, to buy me a new pair of shooz. Mummy wanted to rotate my shooz a bit.Went to the Bata store there. However, couldn't find the one pair of shooz for me. Sigh...Next, we went to NTUC to buy the week's groceries...Well, papi also ordered a 1kg ice cream cake from Swensen on-line this afternoon. It is mummy's birthday cake. Yummy...

Mummy's recovering... maybe

Walao, mummy told papi that she was shivering at around 4am this morning. She has since caught a runny nose and cough.

Papi took the afternoon off and came home. Papi brought me to NTUC, Whampoa market and then to abuela's house for dinner

Alamak, mummy's fever got worse in the evening and papi took urgent leave for tomorrow. Things should be better tomorrow, as mummy finally wants to go see a doctor.

Piggy Bank

Here is my piggy bank for the Tiger year. Mummy bought from NTUC. I am learning to save up by taking my papi's coins and putting them to this little tiger.
