My parents brought me to Temple (Wat) for Vesak Day. The usual every year. This year is different, my Daddy aka the fussy eater, actually ate 2 plates of vegetarian noodles for lunch. Amazing. Mum said she got to buy 4D...

Vesak Day
Today is Vesak Day, we never go to any Buddhist temples today. I've got a bad cough and was on MC yesterday. Papi must be bored and he slept the whole afternoon.

Finally...
Oh finally, I am quite well enough to go for my ballet class. It is my 4th ballet lesson for the year and an overall, 29th lesson so far. I had missed two lessons recently over the CNY period as I was unwell.
My parents brought me to Shuang Ling Temple after my ballet class. I prayed and also took some sweets back home. Yummy.

Another 2-day MC for me
Papi is on leave today. He went to Bright Hill Temple with abuela to pray grandpa. As usual, it was a wet day. It rained throughout the weekend.
Next, he went off to Toa Payoh Hub to settle his bills at the Post Office, go to bank, top up his ez-link card and bought dried longans for abuela. He is tricky as mummy and myself thought he went to Whampoa to run his errands.
My parents brought me to see Dr Sim in the evening. We went there after dinner at Whampoa market. In fact, we had fish soup for dinner for the past 3 evenings. Dr Sim said my cough was kinda okay, no cause for alarm and I was given 2-day MC.
I want to recover in time for CNY!!!

It's 2011!
Today is New Year's Day and 2011 is here!
As usual, had our breakfast at Whampoa market and then for groceries shopping at NTUC.
In the afternoon, my parents decided to go over to Shuang Ling Temple to pray for the New Year...
Oh, also my 伯伯 is back from Shanghai this afternoon!

Praying to grandpa
My papi was on leave yesterday.
Yesterday was my grandpa's chinese anniversary. My abuela, parents and myself went to pray my late grandpa at Bright Hill Temple.
In the morning, we went to Whampoa market to buy breakfast. A makeshift stall was there and all three of us bought crocs shoes.
After that, we set off to Bright Hill Temple. As it was my 1st ever visit to pray grandpa, I introduce myself to grandpa and sang 3 songs to him.
After that, we went to Square 2 and had lunch at Sakae Sushi.
Got home and received more good news... papi told me that 伯伯 emailed, telling him that he bought a 4 box-set of Barbie movies for me. Total 16 movies in all.

My Sunday outing
Today is Sunday, we did not go to 爷爷 and 奶奶's house today.
We had lunch at Whampoa market. Our favs, duck rice and rojak.
Next, we headed to Waterloo Street and prayed at the Guan Yin Temple and then, for window shopping at OG. I saw this wonderful set of toys...
This Christmas Tree at OG looks nice too...
The main aim of our trip was to buy the Norton 360 anti-virus software at Sim Lim Square. After purchasing it, we went to Tekka Mall, now known as The Verge and bought LED lightings for our Christmas Tree!

Abuela's off to KL
My abuela set off to Kuala Lumpur early this morning. She will be there over the weekend. She is there for some Buddhist Temple fund-raising show.
She will be back on Sunday night and will be fetching me from skool come Monday morning. Oh yes, will be at her place from Monday to Wednesday. There are massive renovations on the unit above ours. As usual, loud drilling and hacking works.

My Children's Day outing
Today is Children's Day. No skool for today and my papi was also on leave.
My papi actually planned to go to Restaurant Ten at Purvis Street for lunch. However, he had a last-minute change of plans.
We headed to Bras Brasah and mummy went to look for her ex-colleagues there for a chat.
After that, my parents brought me to Jack's Place for lunch.
As it is Children's Day, my parents bought me lots of stuff today. I got a Disney Princess watch, bunny ears, stickers and a Princess sticker album.
Oh, my papi went for fish head steamboat with 2 colleagues at Whampoa market later in the evening.
