My parents went to Bukit Panjang Plaza secretly while I was sleeping at grandma's place. Papi bought his NIKE jogging shoes and mum got her new sandals from Bata. Mom said she will only wear it during CNY, which is around 2 weeks' away. Btw, they bought me a pink hairband from Mini Toons. I have been wearing it since.

The library

I woke up early today. Papi and mummy brought me to McDonald's Toa Payoh for breakfast. Papi bought me a Transformer toy. Ate alot...the hotcakes, scrambled egg, hash brown and hot Milo.
Went to Toa Payoh Library after breakfast. There was a huge pasar malam outside. We jalan jalan there and my parents bought me socks and a Hello Kitty bedsheet. Papi wanted to buy jogging sneakers at Shaw Plaza. However, could not settle with which pair to buy. We had duck rice lunch at Whampoa market after that.

Lost

My parents send me to skool this morning. We met 伯伯 on the way there.

Mom had quite a scare while we were going home. She lost me for a few minutes at our void deck. Luckily. mummy found me. I think papi must be pissed to hear that. I am sure.

I think mum told papi that my best friends are Eva and Teresa. To me, mummy is my best friend.

Complaints

Today, the skool teacher told, or rather complain to my mummy that I pulled my classmate's hair. She also complained that I always walk around the class and cannot sit still.

Uhmm...just last week, she also complained that I pulled my own hair. My beautiful hair. Much earlier, it was also about me. Playing with water in the basin.

So, i think adults like to gossip.

My first skool assignment

This is my first ever skool artwork. It was done early this month and only get posted now. It is all papi's fault... he kept delaying taking a photo of this "butchered" apple.

Piggy Bank

Here is my piggy bank for the Tiger year. Mummy bought from NTUC. I am learning to save up by taking my papi's coins and putting them to this little tiger.

So tired

I think too much things went on for me today...

Firstly, papi is on leave and so, papi and mummy brought me to skool today. Somehow, I cried again. What a letdown. Both of them went to McDonald's at Shaw Plaza for breakfast. They bought me McCupid.

My mom then went to TTSH for her checkup while papi and abuela went to fetch me from skool. Mummy join us at abuela's house around noon.

Next, we headed to Guan Yin Temple at Waterloo Street to 敬佛. Papi remarked that we have not come to Bugis for ages. Went to iluma and Bugis Junction next.

There is a bridge from iluma to Bugis Junction. However, papi told mummy that there is actually no "connection"to Bugis Junction. To know more, one may read Blinky Mummy's "Bridging Absurdity" post. She's someone that my papi knows from the Maxwell Road days.

Over at Bugis Junction, my papi bought me a Hello Kitty ez-link card holder. Here it is...

Next, we passed by NLB. That was a huge open space and I just ran, ran and ran...

My parents brought me to Bras Brasah... to look for mummy's old friends inside this bookshop...

From there, we headed to Chinatown. Naturally, CNY coming, so go to Chinatown, lah. We went inside to Buddha Tooth Relic Temple to pray.

Our final stop was to buy a packet of CNY ang pow lantern. My mummy makes beautiful CNY ang pow lanterns for CNY. This time round, I heard there is unfinished business. Hee hee...

Ended this tiring trip with sugar cane and papi ta-pau roast pork rice for dinner. I was getting sleepy and grouchy and got whacked by papi for my troubles. Hopped on taxi and left for home. Bye bye.

Top of the pile

Oh dear, I vomitted at house this morning before leaving for skool. Just a slight blip. My 舅舅 came over to play with me today. My papi's on leave tomorrow and we should be out shopping.

My mummy, 舅舅 and myself had duck rice for lunch. Here's a shot of this famed stall...

Things are good, my papi's Gunners went top of the Premiership today. I think they hadn't occupy the top spot for quite awhile. Nice change from the usual. What is the usual?

Nowadays, it is always about Liverpool on the decline, Pompey disappearing, Chelsea without their African players, the wealth and debt in both sides of Manchester. Ha ha. Also about who is gatecrashing the Big Four.

I know, my papi is keeping his fingers crossed that Arsenal will stay on top till May. The next 16 games are crucial. Uhmm...

Lastly, the transfer window got 10 more days. Hurry! Hurry! Go buy a striker. Monsieur I Didn't See It, please do something. This could well be THE season.

Lose face, bad and good news

I cried at the skool's doorstep again... My mummy said I made her lose face. Then in the evening, I made papi angry because I didn't want him to carry me to abuela's house. Papi is terrible and he told me he wants to swipe my new Pooh shoes, no library and shopping trips anymore.

Now, the bad news. The papers reported that we might not even get to watch the 4 free World Cup matches in Singapore. Just reminded me of the song, "Tragedy" by the Bee Gees. Remember Murphy's Law... "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong."

The good news is... for papi, is that Jay Leno might be back as the Tonight Show host. IMHO, papi will be most delighted. He never quite got used to Conan as the Tonight host. I guest his jokes ain't that funny as Jay's. Especially that Andy guy, that plump sidekick with that creepy laughing. I guess that vegetarian bald guitarist is also cooler than that E Street Band's drummer.

I liked quite a bit from watching Jay Leno in The Tonight Show back then. You guess it, mummy...yes, it is learning how to shake hands with people. Hee hee.

Playing with 伯伯

Today is the start of my daily 3-hour skool. Class starts at 8am and ends at 11am. My abuela came and fetch me from skool today.

I went to abuela's house for dinner and saw my 伯伯 there today. I think I haven't seen him for months. It was a surprise and I played with him.

Weekend came and went. Very fast... I spent the entire Sunday at my 奶奶's house yesterday.

My nu shooz

As promised, my papi and mummy bought me a pair of new shoes. I will wear it to skool tomorrow. It was a grand affair as my papi, mummy, 爷爷 and 舅舅 accompanied me to the Bata store at Bukit Panjang Plaza for my purchase.

World Cup woes

It sounds more like a cruel joke and like most football fans, I think my papi will be devastated with the news.

Firstly, many many years ago...there was this Goal 2010 or then, later Vision 2010 to take the Singapore football team to its first World Cup in 2010. Of course, it didn't work. The team can't even win the SEA Games gold for nuts. However, never mind...for papi, he still got the Arsenal.

Then in today's papers, it seems Singapore may not show the World Cup 2010 at all. At best, there will be the 4 free-to-air matches. No telecast of all matches for World Cup 2010. It really is unbelievable. Uniquely Unbelievable.

Morale of the Story: We may have to miss watching the World Cup let alone being in the World Cup.

It is also unbelievable that Sol Campbell becomes the first ever former Gunner for Wenger to re-sign. Walao. I think my papi is also dreaming right now for Pires or Handball Henry to re-sign too... That is more likely than Singapore broadcasting the World Cup 2010.

Family again...

I got a confession to make today. Today in skool, I played with water. The teacher told my mummy about it. She also told my mom that I ate 3 biscuits and 1 slice of bread in skool. They seems to tell my mummy everything.

Abuela came along to fetch me also. She went to temple after that. She spent her free time going to temples...

I want to say...that I am terrified with that family video. This is another family video and this one is not so scary. Hope u people will like it.

Family

I vomitted twice today. Once at abuela's void deck and 2nd round, at home. After getting back from skool. Been coughing like a machine gun today. Papi told me to get well soon. So that our family can go out, cause' if I am unwell, we all stay at home. Furthermore, he said CNY is coming. If not, I can't eat the cookies, kropok, bak kwa and other goodies.

Staying at home and I have started playing Yoville with my mummy's facebook account. Papi was telling mummy that his first contact with computer was when he was around 17 or 18. About using WordPerfect back then... So, i guess i'm early. I can quite proficient moving the mouse around. Hee hee.

To the doc

Papi and mummy brought me to Dr Sim early this afternoon. No big deal... the usual cough and runny nose medicine for me. I think it is common for kids of my age to fall sick when we go to nursery or child care centres.

One thing is for sure. I hate cough mixture!

Sleepy...

Hello...I am feeling a bit sick since yesterday. Got runny nose and cough. My temperature has gone down since.

My 舅舅 came over my place yesterday. He played with me and also brought my toy back. It is all repaired. Papi is back home already. As I am not feeling that well, so we are not going out. Oh, got to put on record that today is the first time my papi accompanied me to skool.

Abuela or 婆婆 came and fetch me from skool today. My mummy hide herself in one corner to surprise me. My two dearest always take turns to fetch me.

Super Show

Today, i am on top of my game. I didn't cry in skool and even turn around to wave bye bye to my mummy. I think i am improving...

Papi is on leave tomorrow afternoon and is likely to bring me out shopping.

No show

My parents did not bring me to my maternal grandparents' or 爷爷 and 奶奶's home today. It is two weeks' in a row already.

Hope to drop by there next Sunday. I wonder if my 舅舅 had finished repairing my toy. Hee hee...

A happy day

Today is satisfying. Not only was there no skool, my parents brought me to the 3 places as promised. First trip, to the Whampoa market for soya bean, then to the library and mummy selected 12 books and finally, to City Square for shopping with gugu (姑姑) and abuela (祖母).

The shopping trip wasn't quite a success. Firstly, papi thinks the claypot lunch was crappy. He wasn't impressed a single bit. To all out there, my papi is quite a foodie. When he says it is not nice, it really is NOT NICE. The real intent to go City Square was to apply a debit card for abuela. It all fizzles out when we were told to maintain a savings account with a local bank. So, no deal. Next was to buy a mobile phone with no contract for abuela. No purchase was made as the models put on sale was deemed to be of poor design by abuela. Left the place at around 4pm...

I overheard papi telling mummy on the bus that he did not buy the lucky Doraemon charm toy for me the other day. It all started because the Macs staff asked papi to buy a $2 lucky toy. As usual, papi shot back and ask "How lucky it can be if i buy one?" Naturally, the Macs staff is clueless on answering him. So, no deal.

Meanwhile, there is news brewing that they are not selling the piggy version. Not mentioning much here, lest it sounds seditious. I don't want to go Changi resort at a young and tender age, hor. Equally interesting in the news was that local company dealing with postage one. Walao, like dat also can. Super marketing idea, like real. Papi would love to see a fallout from that issue. I am SURE.

Btw, before I forget, met my ah yee and cousin at DBS bank. Everybody was withdrawing money from the ATM...

My 1st week of skool

Nothing much to shout about. I cried at skool... 4 out of 5 days. Today is bad, my mummy came late to fetch me. Not that late, a few minutes. That was enuf for me to cry buckets of tears.

Papi told me this morning of his weekend plans. We go market tomorrow, then to the library and for lunch at City Square with abuela. Sunday will be at my maternal grandparents' home. Quite a packed programme.

Hope I can get used to skool next week. No promises... but, i may try.

The Crying Game...

Hello everybody, i cried again at skool. I even told my teacher that "my mother went to Whampoa market to buy soya bean". Now the whole world knows.

Mummy and abuela came to fetch me after skool and brought me to Whampoa market for youtiao and soya bean. I think i am beginning to hate skool but papi told me that I must like skool. 姑姑 dropped by my house in the evening and stayed for dinner.

Hi hi best frens mummy and papi, i cried on my 2nd day at skool. I am so sad... To end this, mummy bought me 2 sets of uniform. I will get papi to take photos & post it on this blog. It had that logo of the Party in Power...FWAH.

First day of skool

Today marks another milestone in my life... I start nursery class today or this year, whatever.

It rained... just like the day I was born. This morning, papi carried me right up to the bus and mama followed up with the rest. Grandma came by at the skool and secretly dunk 2 hard boiled eggs into my pink bear bear bag. For good luck, she believes.

I think I love skool.... the only drawback is that I need to sleep early and get up early from now on.... probably, till I finished University, I think my parents hoped for that too.

My papi has created this blog for me....let's see how long can he or rather, he can maintain it... Ha ha. Oh, before i forget, got to give my account to mama. For her to create a facebook account for me, or indirectly, set up new accounts for fish, farmvilles, etc.

My mummy, mama or best friend paid the skool fee today. The skool is very clever. Quote S$88 or 發發. Lucky amount and all parents pay already also shiok shiok. Bye for now... and to all out there, I just turned three last month.
