What a Saturday

I woke up this morning coughing quite badly and got a runny nose to boot. My parents decided to bring me to see Dr Sim. Off we went to the Doc...

Doc checked me and I was given the following medicine:-
1. Cetrizine
2. Fluimucil
3. Dhasolone
4. Asmol (Salbutamol)
5. Dhasedyl

My cough was bad enough for my parents to decide that there shall be NO ballet class today. They will also not be bringing me to 爷爷 and 奶奶's house tomorrow.

Oh, also heard that my 爷爷 is down with flu. Heard he rejected my 奶奶's offer of flu medication. Wow... she sure not very happy with him.

My place got some big-time Sintua festivities. Must be due to the 19th day of the sixth month in the Chinese calendar yesterday.As there was no ballet class for me, my papi was very free and he went to Whampoa market in the late afternoon to buy rojak.As usual, super long queue.

I am in trouble...

Mummy is very angry with me today. She came to fetch me after my skool today. Once the door opened, I started running along the corridor.

Rightfully, mummy is furious. She told me that she will bring a cane when she comes to fetch me from skool tomorrow.

I am in trouble. Worst of all, papi heard it and I sure get double when he comes home this evening.

Boo hoo hoo.... Flooding....

On the so-called top of the world...

My papi was at Capital Tower (资金大厦) this afternoon. It is supposed to be the fourth tallest building in Singapore. He took this shot of the CBD...On the flip side, the front page of today's Straits Times showed a guy crying over being the first person in Singapore to lay his hands on Starcraft II. My papi can't quite believe it. Crying and grinning with tears of joy for a computer game?

Flood Preparedness "Exercise"

We were walking to abuela's place for dinner earlier. The many sandbags on those HDB "terrace" houses along Jalan Mamor and Jalan Bahagia caught me and my parents' eyes.Papi was telling mummy that it could be standard issues from HDB, Town Council or PUB.

All those houses there have been spared of floods previously... till now. Walao. Really, man. No amount of engineering can save Singapore from floods.

Yummy 永祥 yong tau foo

My papi is on a 2-hour off this afternoon. He went to People's Park, queued up and ate his favourite 永祥 yong tau foo soup. Take a look at the pictures, sure look nice...Btw, I cried big time this morning at skool. Got ticked off by teacher for wandering off to another classroom while my classmates adjourned to another learning room.

It leaves my parents very concerned about my lack of concentration... Sigh.

To cheer me up, they brought me to the playground and gave me an ice cream treat in the evening enroute to abuela's house for dinner. I love them.

I did it again...bed wetting for the SIXTH time this morning. Mummy shaked her head.

Well, mummy hit upon a great idea. She told papi to carry me to the potty when he does wake up in the middle of the night to pee. Ha ha...

Hello, I am at my 爷爷 and 奶奶's house now. Doing the usual again, playing Facebook games, running and galloping around the house.

I went for my 10th ballet class yesterday and I bed-wetted for the FIFTH time this morning.

I pointed out this ad to my papi when we are at Selegie this afternoon. It shows the balding process. Papi told me immediately that he is not in any stage... yet.

Vivocity again

My papi is on leave today. Mummy decided not to work today and both my parents walked me to skool in the morning. They went to see Dr Sim later on for some blood tests. The usual yearly cholesterol, glucose level, blood pressure, etc.

They came back hand-in-hand to fetch me afterwards and we headed to Vivocity. Papi suggested lunch at Modesto's. This pizza joint goes a long way... I mean for my parents. They used to go to another outlet at Orchard Parade Hotel when mummy worked at Tanglin years ago...

Here is the place...Vivocity is a nice place to run... huge spaces...Today is also the first time I was at the main entrance of Vivocity.Next, we headed to the Guan Yin Temple at Waterloo Street to pray. We saw Mr Henry Thia (辉哥) there.Nearby, there was this nice toy shop and my parents bought me this dream toy of mine...I am now a pink butterfly fairy princess!!!

My papi must be very sian that Eduardo have signed for Shakhtar Donetsk.Every gooner must be sad to see him leave. Frankly, papi thinks he hadn't been half the player he was since that attempted murder at Birmingham. However, however... that extraordinary goal against Burnley in the FA Cup shortly after his return from that horrific injury speaks volumes of his quality.



What a special talent he was.The personal message he left with Arsenal.com was touching, indeed. A fine mark of an outstanding individual. Thanks for the memories, Dudu.Long may you run...

My friend, whom my papi called her the Pui Ter (肥猪) is switching skool come September.

I guess mummy is relieved. She told papi that I kinda imitate and copy her alot, her mannerism, the way she speaks, doing "pole dancing" on bus stops, etc.

Cost of Education: July 2010

Yesterday, my parents paid up the S$70 supplementary fee for my K1 studies next year.

Thus, the cost of education is $922.40 + $70 = $992.40.

It is only July, 7 months into my maiden skooling year and it is near the One Thousand Dollars mark.

My outing with papi, mummy, abuela & 姑姑

Today, I went out with my parents, abuela & 姑姑. We went to Chinatown and Vivocity.

First stop, was a dim sum lunch at Red Star restaurant. Boy, it was crowded with long queues...Overall, kinda hearty meal. But, abuela don't quite like it. Total bill was S$84.30. Abuela thought it was a bit pricey. Ha ha.

We took the North-East line train to Vivocity next.The main intent was to get a new Nokia mobile phone for abuela.Finally, settled for a pink coloured Nokia slide phone for abuela. It costs S$229 and 姑姑 paid for the phone. Settled... we went home after that. There was one more unfinished business... I caught Cristiano Ronaldo in a leg opening act.Papi had fish head steamboat dinner with Uncle Victor at Whampoa market before going off to attend a colleague's late sister's funeral wake at Sengkang.

My day's outing with papi, mummy & 舅舅

Papi's on leave today. We had planned to shop at Ngee Ann City today and with... my 舅舅. The day started with papi and mummy walking me to skool. After that, papi went to Whampoa market for his favourite hand-made noodle soup.He went back to skool and fetch me at around 11 am. It was raining cats and dogs. He brought me to abuela's place. I watched cartoons on okto and ate delicious egg french toast and drank hot Milo.Me and my parents set off to Orchard Road just when the rain stopped... Our first stop was to fill our empty stomachs. We headed to Din Tai Fung restaurant at Paragon for our lunch.After our lunch, we met up with 舅舅 at the Takashimaya Toy Fair. Here are some shots of the Toy Fair...Here are my purchases and paid for by my papi...What a great outing... we also went to McDonald's for fries and iced Milo. Headed straight to abuela's place after that...
